Position Purpose

The Enterprise Systems Analyst supports the effective operation, improvement and governance of Flexi’s enterprise systems landscape. The role acts as a bridge between business stakeholders, technology teams and external vendors, translating operational needs into practical system solutions.



The position is responsible for analysing business processes, documenting requirements, supporting system configuration, managing system issues and enhancements, contributing to reporting and data quality activities, and ensuring enterprise platforms continue to meet organisational, compliance and user experience requirements.


Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis and Process Improvement

Work with stakeholders to understand current-state processes, identify pain points, document requirements, and recommend improvements that support operational efficiency, compliance and consistent ways of working.

Enterprise Systems Support

Provide functional support for enterprise platforms, including triage of system issues, investigation of root causes, coordination of fixes, user support, testing and release readiness activities.

System Configuration and Enhancement

Support configuration changes, workflow updates, security role reviews, form/process improvements, reporting enhancements and other system changes in line with approved governance and change control processes.

Data Quality and Reporting

Support accurate, complete and timely system data by identifying data issues, coordinating remediation, maintaining data standards, and assisting with reports, dashboards and operational insights.

Integration and Vendor Coordination

Work with technical teams and vendors to support system integrations, interface monitoring, issue resolution, enhancement planning and delivery of system changes.

Governance and Compliance

Contribute to system governance practices, including documentation, access controls, audit readiness, change management, process controls and alignment with organisational policies and regulatory obligations.

Testing and Change Management

Develop or support test scenarios, coordinate user acceptance testing, validate system outcomes, prepare user guidance, and support communication, training and adoption of system changes.

Stakeholder Engagement

Build strong relationships with business users, system owners, project teams and external partners to ensure enterprise system solutions are practical, sustainable and aligned to business priorities.


Key Accountabilities

The Enterprise Systems Analyst will be accountable for:

  • Ensuring enterprise system issues and enhancement requests are analysed, documented and progressed appropriately.
  • Maintaining clear documentation for business requirements, process designs, system configuration decisions, test outcomes and support procedures.
  • Supporting system changes that improve efficiency, data integrity, compliance and user experience.
  • Providing timely and effective support to business stakeholders and system users.
  • Contributing to a governed, secure and sustainable enterprise systems environment.

Skills and Experience

Essential

  • Experience in a systems analyst, business analyst, application support, ERP analyst or enterprise systems role.
  • Strong understanding of business process analysis, requirements gathering and solution documentation.
  • Experience supporting enterprise platforms such as Workday, ERP, HRIS, finance, payroll, CRM, student management or similar core business systems.
  • Ability to investigate system issues, interpret business needs and coordinate practical solutions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and documentation skills.
  • Experience with testing, change management and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to work with technical teams, vendors and non-technical business users.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially in relation to data, access, workflows and process controls.

Desirable

  • Experience in education, not-for-profit, shared services or complex multi-entity environments.
  • Experience with Workday, payroll, finance, HR, rostering, identity/access, reporting or integration-enabled platforms.
  • Understanding of system governance, data governance, security roles, audit controls and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with reporting tools, dashboards, data extracts or integration monitoring.
